An exquisite song written by rare songbird, Eva Cassidy herself, called "Somewhere."

R.I.P. Eva died in '96 at age 33...what an amazing artist!

Hilary Hahn, playing the violin concerto Nr.1 in D major by Sergei Prokofiev (This piece always makes me think of an epic drama playng out in the fairy kingdom.) ~Scintillating and transcendent~

Dear Mister Fantasy play us a tune
Something to make us all happy
Do anything take us out of this gloom
Sing a song, play guitar
Make it snappy

You are the one who can make us all laugh
But doing that you break out in tears
Please don't be sad if it was a straight mind you had
We wouldn't have known you all these years
Oooo Ahhhhh
Oooo Ahhhhh

Each time you choose to sing the rock & roll blues, you take everybody's loneliness with you. What do you lose each time you face down a room? All of us see our changes through you.

So sing of the ocean of tears you have sailed,Strangers and lovers that took you.All of us sang, and all of us failed. In one way we don't ever hear you (last 2 verses by Crosby Stills and Nash).

~ One of the great ones.

After contemplating the deceptions that are getting subtler and subtler. In Native American terms...using the flexible "medicine" of the willow tree...bending to accomodate humanity's increased illumination...we find the 'second net' (Matthew Delooze's term...DI is plagiarizing him again and I want to make sure he gets his due for he is an authentic one) is stretch - i n g wider and wider.

Remember, they already tried the same thing on the hippy generation - BEING TRUE TO THEIR "artificial intelligence roots" cyclical repetition typical of tptb who are WAY, TREY, tacky and predictable...let's rock out to this...

(Best representation I could find on YouTube)

Bruce Hornsby Barren Ground Lyrics

Songwriters: HORNSBY, BRUCE / HORNSBY, JONATHAN
B. r. hornsby/john hornsby

There were people living in a green valley
Found a way to make a lot of money
Made the green turn gradually gray
They figured they could do whatever they wanted
Everything would be alright
But scars don't always heal away
And the sons and the daughters got diamonds and gold
But they were given a land where
Strong roots never take hold

Good seed don't grow
On the barren ground
Good things don't come along
As you just sit dreaming on
Good seed don't grow
On the barren ground
Say everything fades away
There you are still around
What'll you do where will you go

Ther was a ship along the coast
Carrying a load of black money
In the sound near the northern lights
When the ship set sail
The crew looked for guidance
In the bottom of an empty glass
Then the captain said "pour me another rye"
Then the water turned black as that cold winter's night

Good seed don't grow
On the barren ground
Good things don't come along
As you just sit dreaming on
Good seed don't grow
On the barren ground
Say everything fades away
There you are still around
What'll you do where will you go

Question

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wDHvmCVRxU"Question"

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war?

'cause when we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need.
In a world of persecution that is burning in its greed.

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door?
Because the truth is hard to swallow
That's what the war of love is for

It's not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me.
It's more the way that you mean it
When you tell me what will be.

And when you stop and think about it
You won't believe it's true.
That all the love you've been giving
Has all been meant for you.

I'm looking for someone to change my life.
I'm looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what it's done to me
To lose the love I knew
Could safely lead me through.

Between the silence of the mountains
And the crashing of the sea
There lies a land I once lived in
And she's waiting there for me.

But in the grey of the morning
My mind becomes confused
Between the dead and the sleeping
And the road that I must choose.

I'm looking for someone to change my life.
I'm looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what it's done to me
To lose the love I knew
Could safely lead me to
The land that I once knew.
To learn as we grow old
The secrets of our souls.

It's not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me.
It's more the way you really mean it
When you tell me what will be.

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war?

When we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need.
In a world of persecution that is burning in its greed

I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band
